If you haven't yet downloaded Pretty Good Solitaire version 12 with 700 games, it can be downloaded from http://www.goodsol.com/download.html Featured Game - FreeCell Duplex ------------------------------- FreeCell Duplex is a new game in Pretty Good Solitaire version 12. It is a two deck variation of FreeCell, but is different from the older game Double FreeCell. In FreeCell Duplex, there are 12 tableau piles. All of the cards are dealt to the tableau piles at the start of the game, nine cards to the first eight piles and eight cards to the remaining piles. There are eight foundation piles, which will be built up in suit. When all of the cards have been moved to the foundation piles, the game is won. There are eight cells. One card can be stored in each cell, as in FreeCell. All eight cells start the game empty. In the tableau, building is down by alternate color. Groups of cards in sequence down by alternate color can be moved as a unit, if there are enough cells empty that they could be moved individually. Since there are so many cells, if you keep cells empty you are able to move much larger groups of cards than in regular FreeCell. Game play and strategy is very much like in FreeCell. FreeCell Duplex plays easier than regular FreeCell, as long as you refrain from filling up all of the cells. It is likely that, just like regular FreeCell, nearly every game is winnable. FreeCell Duplex is one of the 40 new games in Pretty Good Solitaire version 12, which contains 700 games. It can be downloaded from http://www.goodsol.com/download.html . ------------------------------------------ Thomas Warfield - Software Designer - support@goodsol.com Anne Warfield - Order Fulfillment - orders@goodsol.com ©2007 Goodsol Development Inc.
