Featured Game - Upside Down ---------------------------- Upside Down is a two deck Forty Thieves type game that is sometimes known by the name "Upside Down Pyramid". It is one of the new games in Pretty Good Solitaire version 12.3. Upside Down begins by dealing the Aces to eight foundation piles. Then cards are dealt face up to ten tableau piles. One card is dealt to the first pile, three to the second, five to the third, seven to the fourth, nine to the fifth, ten to the sixth, eight to the seventh, six to the eighth, four to the ninth, and two to the tenth. The tableau piles are built down in alternate color and groups of cards in sequence down by alternate color can be moved together. The object of Upside Down is to build the foundation piles up in suit from the Aces to Kings. When all 104 cards have been moved to the foundations, the game is won. The cards remaining after the deal form a stock. The stock is turned over three cards at a time to the waste pile by clicking. There are unlimited redeals. Upside Down is a new game and there are very few score submissions online as of yet at http://scores.goodsol.com/topscores/scores/pgs/upsidedown.html , but it appears that the game can be won nearly every time with good play. Upside Down is most similar to the game Thieves of Egypt. Upside Down is one of the 740 games in Pretty Good Solitaire at http://www.goodsol.com/download.html .
