Sixes and Sevens is a two deck game in the Busy Aces family of games.
There are 16 foundation piles. At the start of the game, the eight Sixes and the eight Sevens aredealt to these piles. The piles starting with Sixes are to be built down in suit to Aces and the piles starting with Sevens are to be built up in suit to Kings. The game is won when all the cards have been moved to the foundations.
There are nine tableau piles. At the start of the game one card is dealt face up to each pile. The tableau piles do not allow building and can only contain one card (making them really more like cells than tableau piles). The card in each tableau pile is available for play on the foundations. Spaces in the tableau can be filled from the waste.
The remainder of the cards form a stock, which is turned over one card at a time to the waste pile. The top card of the waste is available for play on the foundations or tableau. There are no redeals.
Sixes and Sevens is a simple game to play, although the average player wins it only about 50% of the time.
