Object

To move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

•	8 foundation piles (across top) - build the first 4 piles up in suit from Ace to King (one for each suit), the last 4 down in suit from King to Ace (one for each suit).

•	12 tableau piles (below foundations) - top card is available for play on the foundations only. Each pile may contain up to 2 cards. Any card may be played on the first card. Spaces may be filled from the waste. At the start of the game 1 card is dealt face up to each pile.

•	stock (left, face down) - Turn over 1 card to the waste by clicking. One redeal.

•	waste (below stock) - Top card is available for play on the foundations or tableau.

History

Father is a more difficult but more strategic version of Grandfather invented by Thomas Warfield.
