| · | 7 tableau piles - the top card is available for play. Discard pairs of cards that have ranks that add to 15. Possible pairs are King-2, Queen-3, Jack-4, 10-5, 9-6, 8-7. Aces are paired together (Ace-Ace). Spaces are filled from the stock, or the top card of the waste if the stock is empty. At the start of the game 1 card is dealt to the first pile, 2 cards to the 2nd, and so on. The top card is face up.
