| · | 4 foundation piles (left) - build up in suit from Ace to King. At the beginning of the game, the Aces are dealt here.

| · | 16 fans (beside foundations) - build down in suit. Only one card at a time may be moved to the foundations or another fan, except that once per game a draw (or merci) is available. Right-clicking on any buried card will move that card to the top of its pile. This can only be done once in each game. Spaces are filled only by Kings. At the start of the game 3 cards are dealt face up to each pile.
