Order Time

Top  Previous  Next

1 Deck.  Very Easy (85%).  Mostly Skill.

Object

To arrange all the cards in the form of a clock, with all the Queens in a pile at the top, then clockwise around Aces, Twos, up to Jacks, and Kings in the middle.

Layout

13 tableau piles (the clock) - build in the same rank, or up or down by suit, wrapping from Ace to King or King to Ace as necessary. Only one card at a time may be moved.  Spaces may be filled only by a card of the same rank as the clock position of the pile (Queens for the top pile, Aces for the next, and so on, and Kings in the middle).  At the start of the game 4 cards are dealt to each pile.

Notes

Play consists of re-ordering the cards to get each card into the pile that corresponds to its clock position.  Allowable building is up or down by suit (wrapping if necessary), or of the same rank.  For example, on the 5 , the 6 , 4 , 5 , 5 , or  5  could be played.

History

This is an fully open variation of the game Clock.  It was invented by Thomas Warfield.
