Point Sable

Top  Previous  Next

2 Decks.  Hard (20%).  Mostly Skill.

Object

To move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

8 foundation piles (top) - build left 4 piles up in suit from Ace to King, build right 4 piles down in suit from King to Ace.

7 tableau piles (below foundations) - build up or down by suit.  Groups of cards may be moved if they are in sequence up or down by suit (if the direction changes in the middle of the group, the group can still be moved as a unit).  Fill spaces with any card or legal group of cards.  At the start of the game 2 cards are dealt face down to the middle 5 piles, 2 more cards are dealt face down to the middle 3 piles, 2 more cards are dealt face down to the middle pile, then 1 card is dealt face up to all the piles.

stock (top left, face down) - deal one card to each tableau pile, by clicking.  The last deal (2 cards) is dealt to the cells rather than the tableau (regardless of whether there are any cards in the cells).   No redeals.

2 cells (top left) - storage locations for cards.  Only 1 card allowed in each cell (except when the last deal from the stock deals a card to each cell).  Cards may be played to the foundations or tableau.
