| · | 8 tableau piles (right and left) - build down regardless of suit. Top card is available for play on the foundations or another tableau pile, only one card at a time may be moved. Spaces are filled only by a King. At the start of the game 4 cards are dealt to each pile. Each pile's 4 cards are dealt at the same time. If the 1st card is less than a 7, the 4 cards are dealt so that it is on top. If the 1st card is an 8 or more, the 4 cards are dealt so that this card is on the bottom. This serves to increase the chances of winning (tends to make lower cards available quicker).
