Object

To pair up all the cards and move them to the waste pile.

Layout

•	10 tableau piles (across top) - the top card is available for play. Pair up cards of the same rank. At the start of the game 5 cards are dealt face up to each pile.

•	2 extra cards (below tableau) - each card is available for play to be paired with cards in the tableau.

•	waste pile - Where paired cards go out of play.

History

Alcides is a variation of Heracles and Nestor.
