2 Decks.  Medium (25%).  Mostly Skill.



To move all the cards to the foundations.



8 foundation piles (across top) - build up in suit from Ace to King.


10 tableau piles (below foundations) - build down by alternate color.  Groups of cards in sequence down by alternate color may be moved as a unit.  Spaces are filled only by Kings or groups of cards headed by a King.  At the start of the game 1 card is dealt to the first pile, 2 cards to the 2nd, and so on.  The top card is turned face up.


stock (top left, face down) - turn over 3 cards at a time to the waste by clicking during the first deal, 2 cards at a time during the 2nd deal, and 1 card at a time during the last deal.  Two redeals.


waste (next to stock) - top card available for play.


reserve (bottom left) - Storage location for Kings.  Up to 3 Kings may be placed here.  The top King is available for play.






When a King becomes available and there is no empty tableau pile for it, it may be placed on the Reserve for storage until needed.  Up to 3 Kings may be placed in the Reserve at any one time.



Batsford Rush is a variation of Batsford.
