Top  Previous  Next

1 Deck.  Medium (25%).  Mostly Luck.

Object

To pair up all cards and move them out of play to the waste pile.

Layout

5 tableau piles - discard pairs of cards whose ranks add to 14.  The top card of each pile is available for pairing.  The top card of any pile can also be moved into an empty space.  At the start of the game 1 card is dealt to each pile.

2 reserve piles (bottom) - 2 additional cards that can be paired with the cards in the tableau.  Once paired, these cards are not replaced by the stock, nor can cards from the tableau be used to fill empty spaces.

stock (far right, face down) - clicking deals 1 card to each of the 5 tableau piles.

Notes

Any pair of cards whose values add to 14 can be discarded.  The valid pairs are King-Ace, Queen-Two, Jack-3, 10-4, 9-5, 8-6, 7-7.    When all possible pairs are discarded, deal another set of 5 cards onto the piles by clicking on the Stock.

Valid Discards

A-K, 2-Q, 3-J, 4-10, 5-9, 6-8, 7-7.
