Light and Shade

2 Decks.  Easy (50%).  Mostly Luck.

To move all the cards to the foundations.

8 foundation piles (across top) - build up by alternate color from the Aces to Kings.  At the start of the game the Aces are dealt here.

4 tableau piles (below foundations, on right) - build down by alternate color.  Groups of cards can be moved if they are in sequence down by alternate color.  Spaces are filled only by a card from a cell.  At the start of the game 1 card is dealt face up to each pile.

stock (below foundations on left, face down) - turn over 1 card to waste by clicking.  No redeals.

waste (next to stock) - Top card is available for play on the foundations or tableau.

4 cells (below stock and waste) - storage locations for cards. Spaces are automatically filled from the waste (or stock if empty). Only 1 card allowed in each cell.

Notice that the foundations are built up by alternate color, an unusual method of foundation building.

Light and Shade is a variation of Red and Black.
