Friday is a one deck Addition type game, similar to the game Seventeens.
There are 13 tableau piles. At the start of the game three cards are dealt face up to ten piles, and one card is dealt face up to the center three piles.
In the tabeau cards are discarded in pairs whose ranks add to 13, in the same way as in some other addition type games such as Pyramid. Kings are discarded singly. The valid pairs are Ace-Queen, 2-Jack, 3-10, 4-9, 5-8, 6-7, and King (single card). To pair cards, drop one card on the other card or right click. Click on a King to discard it.
The remainder of the cards form a stock. Spaces are automatically filled from the stock in the center three piles, otherwise in the outer ten piles spaces are not filled.
The objective is to discard all 52 cards.
An average player wins about 60% of the time, but higher percentages are quite possible.
