Patience's Reward is a Forty Thieves type game that is one of the oldest games that I invented.

How to Play

It is a two deck game. There are eight foundation piles, these piles will be built from Aces up to Kings in suit in the usual way. The game is won when all cards are moved here.

There are 13 tableau piles. At the start of the game four cards are dealt face up to each pile. Then the remainder of the cards form a stock.

Building is down in suit. Groups of cards may be moved if they are down in sequence by suit. Spaces may be filled by any card.

When play comes to a standstill, clicking on the stock will deal one card to each tableau pile. There are no redeals.

An average player wins Patience's Reward about 70% of the time, but much better scores are possible.
