Single Spark is a one deck variation of the game The Spark. It is unusual in that the building on the tableau is done down in suit rather than up in suit as in most games. Other than this, the game is very much of the Busy Aces family of games.
At the start of the game, six cards are dealt one each to six tableau piles. These tableau piles will be built up in suit (again, the opposite of what is usual). Only the top card of each pile is available for play. Empty piles can be filled by any card.
Additionally there are two waste piles (also a bit unusual). At the start of the game 3 cards are dealt to each waste pile, with only the top card available for play.
The remainder of the cards form a stock. Clicking on the stock will deal three more cards to each waste pile.
The object of the game is to build four foundation piles down in suit from Kings to Aces. Instead of trying to find Aces to start off foundations, you need to find Kings. This makes the thinking backwards from a normal game. The game isn't really any harder than a normal game, but the backwards from normal thinking it requires makes it seem harder.
