Tournament is a complicated two deck game of strategy.
There are eight foundation piles. Build the piles on the left up in suit from Ace to King, and build the piles on the right down in suit from King to Ace. Each group of 4 piles should have a pile of each suit. An Ace or a King of each suit is dealt here at the start of the game.
There are eight reserve piles. Each pile can contain one card, available for play on the foundations. Spaces in the reserve may be filled with any card. At the start of the game one card is dealt face up to each pile.
There are six tableau piles. The top card is available for play on the foundations or reserves. Spaces are filled by a group of four cards from the stock. There is no building in the tableau. At the start of the game four cards are dealt face up to each pile.
The remainder of the cards form a stock. Clicking on the stock deals four cards to each tableau pile. There are two redeals. During a redeal all the cards in the tableau are collected and all the cards are redealt to the tableau.
An average player wiins Tournament about 15% of the time. Be on the lookout for opportunities to move cards from the Ace foundations to the King foundation or vice versa when the suits meet.
