Warning! - Pretty Good Solitaire may be addictive. We are not responsible for lost productivity, neglected spouses, children, or pets. We are not responsible for lost sleep because you stay up to play "just one more game".
Turnover the Rainbow is a one deck Canfield type game. It is a variation of the game Rainbow and one of the new games in version 16.2 of Pretty Good Solitaire.
There are four foundation piles, these will be built up in suit from the rank of the first card dealt to the first pile, wrapping from King to Ace as necessary, until each pile contains 13 cards. When all of the cards are moved here, the game will be won.
Thirteen cards are dealt to a reserve pile, with the top card available for play on the foundations or tableau.
There are four tableau piles. At the start of the game one card is dealt face up to each pile. Building is down regardless of suit. Groups of cards may be moved if they are in sequence down regardless of suit. Spaces are filled from the reserve, and if the reserve is empty then by any card.
The remaining cards form a stock. The stock is turned over one card at a time to a waste pile. The top card of the waste pile is available for play on the foundations or tableau.
There are two redeals.
Turnover the Rainbow is a variation of the classic Canfield game. Building regardless of suit makes it easier than Canfield. The two redeals makes it easier than the game Rainbow, which is a much harder game without redeals.
