Geoffrey is a one deck variation of the popular game Yukon.
There are eight tableau piles. At the start of the game seven cards are dealt face up to the first four piles, and six cards are dealt to the next four piles, four face down and two face up. There are 4 foundation piles. The object is to build the foundation piles up in suit from Aces to Kings.
Building in the tableau is down by suit. Groups of cards may be moved regardless of sequence, as in Yukon. Any face up card in the tableau may be built upon another, no matter how deep it is in a pile. All cards covering it are moved together. When a face down card is uncovered, it is automatically turned face up and is available for play. Fill spaces with Kings or groups of cards headed by a King.
There is no stock since all the cards are dealt out at the beginning. To win you need to uncover the face down cards. An average player wins Geoffrey only about 40% of the time, but with skillful play higher scores are possible.
