Thumb and Pouch is a variation of the classic 7 pile solitaire game Klondike. It is somewhat easier than Klondike played with strict rules.

How to Play

Thumb and Pouch is a one deck game. There are 7 tableau piles. At the start of the game 1 card is dealt to the first pile, 2 cards to the 2nd, and so on. The top card is face up. Building is down by any suit but the same, rather than the alternate color building of Klondike. Move groups of cards if they are in sequence down by any suit but the same. Spaces may be filled by any card or legal group of cards.

The remainder of the cards form a stock. To play, turn over 1 card at a time from the stock to a waste pile by clicking. There are no redeals.

There are 4 foundation piles, which are built up from Aces to Kings in suit. The game is won when all the cards are moved here.
